Finally

So today is the last day of 2011. This also means the last day of doing the year long project of posting this everyday. I will come back and post occasionally but I think I need a break. I do admit I have missed some days of posting but I’ve gotten almost every day. Happy New Year Everyone and I hope 2012 is the best to come for you.

One More Day

One more day and I can finally finish with this year long project of keeping one goal. I’m getting tired of it.

Aldi

So my mom and I went to this store called Aldi in Kennett, Mo. The store usually doesn’t carry that many brand names but they had some of the best deals. Most stuff you would find at a big grocery store you would find at a higher price. Every town should have a place like Aldi.

Tired of This

In just a few days my goal deadline will come. I’ve been tired of writing these things because I feel like I got nothing to say anymore. Man, I need to get a life.

I spent way too much money at the mall today. The sad thing is there is so much stuff I want. I have a spending problem.

I had a pretty long day, I am just now getting on the internet to check on some stuff.

Merry Christmas

So I got up early this morning and opened presents with my family. I downloaded some new songs that I got from my iTunes gift card. I had Christmas dinner and took a nap for about three hours. I’m watching A Christmas Story now. It was a pretty good Christmas and I hope everyone else had a Merry Christmas.

Christmas Eve

So it’s Christmas Eve and my family and I just had our Christmas Eve Fondue. I’m watching A Christmas Story. Hope to have a Merry Christmas tomorrow.

Real Meaning

So I saw a friend’s post on Facebook today and her question was “Why do people not feel like it’s Christmas when Christmas is only two days away?” One answer was that too many people are obsessed with getting presents and care more about their presents than what the true meaning is. What I wanted to say was people are obsessed with wanting their Christmases to be perfect by doing their yearly Christmas traditions and having to make many trips to the store to get what they need. I guess with this Christmas I wasn’t realizing what the true meaning of Christmas was. This is our first Christmas in a new house and a new town. I wanted to go out and do stuff while everyone was on Christmas break. I wanted to be ready to do our traditions we do every year. I got worried that their wasn’t enough time to get everything done. I remember watching the Veggie Tales video called “The Toy That Saved Christmas” It started out with all these children begging for toys and a popular toy was available and almost every kid wanted it. One of those popular toys was not happy and wanted to tell everyone the true meaning of Christmas. The toymaker wanted everyone to whine and cry just to get what they want and when he saw the toy telling everyone on TV the true meaning of Christmas, he was angry. He later realized he was wrong. The real meaning is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and giving to others.

Memphis

So I went to Memphis today and had my hopes on seeing the animals at the zoo. But my dad didn’t want to go because it was too cold so we just went into a Elvis Presley souvenir shop at Graceland. The tour was too expensive so we couldn’t go. I did get to go ice skating and it was fun. I fell two times though.
